Vice President, Human Resources
Zewud Debebe is Senior Vice President for Human Resources. She is responsible
for the development, execution, maintenance, and evaluation of strategies
and policies towards enhancing the caliber of Danya’s human capital.
Ms. Debebe is responsible for a wide range of programs that unite compliance
to Federal and State regulation requirements with advanced Human Capital
Management practices. She has extensive experience in a variety of employee
management and development domains including: employee relations, recruitment/selection,
progressive discipline, training & development, and policy/procedure
development. As a seasoned HR professional with more than 14 years of
experience, Ms. Debebe is able to guide the HR staff and foster their
growth as professionals, while enhancing their individual and collective
contributions to the company. She is a certified Zenger Miller trainer,
holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in General Administration/Human
Resources from the University of Maryland, and maintains membership
in several national HR-focused professional associations.
