Kenneth Jones, M.B.A., M.A.

Vice President, Business and International Development

With more than 20 years of corporate experience, Mr. Jones is Vice President of Business and International Development, where he is responsible for leading the company’s international growth strategy with a focus on Africa. In addition, Mr. Jones is President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Zebrajobs, a joint venture with IMS, an Ethiopian-based recruiting firm. Prior to Danya, Mr. Jones served as CFO for JHPIEGO, a nonprofit international health affiliate of Johns Hopkins University. In this capacity, he was responsible for the finance, accounting, procurement, contracts, human resources, and MIS functions of the organization. He supported an organization with a major presence in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Previously, Mr. Jones served as Director of Finance and Accounting at Mirant Corporation, based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he was responsible for the month-end and SEC Reporting for a $15 billion energy trading organization. At Pfizer Corporation, Mr. Jones was Director of Finance and Information Technology for the North American Sector of Pfizer’s confectionary operations. During his tenure at Pfizer, he was asked to take over the European Sector, based in Manchester, United Kingdom, where he was responsible for the financial operations of 15 countries in Europe and Africa. He has also held key finance positions at Ford Motor Company and Prudential Financial. Mr. Jones has significant international experience in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. He also is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition, Mr. Jones has served on the JHPIEGO, Johns Hopkins – Health, Education South Africa, and NPOKI Boards. He received his M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management, M.A. in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and B.A. from Boston University. In 2004, Mr. Jones was recognized by UB Today, the SUNY-Buffalo alumni magazine, as a “Person of Note” for his professional and educational accomplishments.
