Senior Vice President, Business Development
Fred Vago is Danya's Senior Vice President for Business Development and has the primary responsibility for
identifying, qualifying, bidding, and winning new competitive task orders and large strategic procurements
with either new or existing clients. His organization includes a team of business developers in the government
and commercial sectors, market researchers, corporate communications professionals, and pricing analysts as well
as a fully staffed proposal development unit. He is an active participant in Danya’s strategic planning activities
and also is responsible for managing strategic alliances with other organizations. In addition, Mr. Vago has been
involved in starting-up and operating large contracts that Danya manages for federal government agencies. His proven
experience in combining contract management with a hands-on knowledge and 30 plus years of senior leadership experience
in the government market creates a strong network of committed Danya clients. Prior to joining Danya, Mr. Vago spent
almost 10 years with Birch & Davis Holding, Inc., where he began his employment as a Principal and worked his way up
to the President of the company. Mr. Vago holds Master's degrees in both Public Health and Public Administration.
He is a Retired Colonel of the Air Force Medical Service and he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for
the Tri-care program when he was assigned at the Pentagon.
