Teen resources have to be real, and The Last Drag is as real as it gets. Two former smokers play the roles of Chris and Mara, two teens who tackle the journey to become smoke free. This uplifting video has been used by State and county health departments, school systems, community organizations, and parents as a successful smoking cessation resource.

The Adolescent Smoking Cessation Escaping Nicotine and Tobacco (ASCENT) Program

About 70 percent of smokers 12 to 17 years of age consider themselves addicted to cigarettes. Yet, there are very few resources that specifically target teen smokers. Cessation tools that help adults stop smoking aren't always developmentally appropriate for teens. ASCENT is a fun, engaging way to help youths understand social influences and learn refusal skills.
