SILVER SPRING, MD. (January 10, 2006) – Danya
International, Inc., a health communications and technology firm delivering
breakthrough solutions for public health and education, has been recognized
by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for establishing
a facility to house critical CDC assets. The build-out of Corporate
Square, Building 9 in Atlanta by Danya made possible the expansion
of the National Center for HIV, STD, and Tuberculosis Prevention (NCHSTP)
Information Center and relocation of the CDC’s IT Contractor
staff.

the remaining space was a good fit for the IT Contractor staff."
The CDC award recognized Danya “For their assistance
in the build-out and relocation of the NCHSTP Information Center and
Contractor Space in Building 9.” Building 9 also houses the
CDC’s NPIN Service Center. Danya was chosen as the contractor
to expand NPIN’s service offerings and to manage the daily Service
Center operations in support of CDC’s prevention mission.
NPIN serves as the centerpiece in CDC’s ongoing
health communications and prevention information campaign. Featuring
cutting-edge technology, this premier Service Center delivers educational
and training opportunities and strategic partnerships. Among the advanced
communications tools showcased in the NPIN Service Center are state-of-the-art
video conferencing facilities, which provide a vital link between
Danya’s Atlanta offices and its Silver Spring headquarters to
facilitate meetings and focus group testing, and an expansive, centralized
library of education and prevention materials.
