Danya Wins Clinical Preceptorship Program 5-Year
Contract Renewal From U.S Navy
Award is Testament to Excellence of Danya Preceptors' Performances

SILVER SPRING, MD. (November 7, 2005) – Danya International, Inc. (Danya), a health communications and technology firm delivering breakthrough solutions for public health and education, has been awarded the Clinical Preceptorship Program 5-year contract by the U.S. Navy. The multi-year contract renewal to Danya recognizes the high quality of work being done at the 57 U.S. Navy drug and alcohol treatment facilities.

The mission of this program is to provide clinical supervision and on-the-job training to the alcohol and drug abuse counselors at Navy bases worldwide. Danya’s team of 44 preceptors, with master’s and doctorate degrees, have extensive backgrounds and recognized professional experience in substance abuse counseling, counselor development, and clinical supervision. This highly regarded cadre of professionals provides onsite services at Navy facilities throughout the world. These services include supporting the substance abuse counselors with on-the-job mentoring and regular clinical consultation to improve the effectiveness of the counseling they provide. Danya’s preceptors extend counselors the unique opportunity to establish close working relationships that afford them quality mentoring from highly experienced clinicians.
