SILVER SPRING, MD. (July 7, 2003) – Danya International,
Inc. (Danya), was awarded a schedule contract by the General Services
Administration (GSA), titled Management, Organizational, and Business
Improvement Services (MOBIS). This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) schedule that extends for 5 years, with three 5-year
option periods.
Wendy Hsing, Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for
Danya, states, "This is an important milestone in our plan to expand
our business base and builds on our growing expertise in providing top-quality
management services and support to the Federal Government."
The MOBIS Schedule offers Government contracts with companies to help
improve management and organizational effectiveness by using specialized
consulting, facilitation services, survey services, program integration,
project management, and training services.
Management consulting is an industry experiencing phenomenal growth
in requests for services. Technology, globalization, and an increased
use of and appreciation for outsourced expert advice are behind this
growth, but can also be sources for strain if not properly managed.
