Danya Wins Head Start Re-Competition
SILVER SPRING, MD. (October 1, 2002) – Recognizing the contributions of Danya International, Inc., to Head Start, the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Children and Families (ACF), has awarded a large, 1-year logistical support contract with 3 option years to the health communications firm based in Silver Spring, Maryland. Danya has successfully operated the contract for the Head Start Bureau since October 1999.

Danya has implemented several enhancements to assist Head Start in efficient management of procedures to coordinate, track, and financially support approximately 700 regional Head Start monitoring site visits each year. A key tool that supports Danya's success is its Web-based, interactive database that processes and tracks grantee reviews.
