Danya Promotes from within a New Leader to Head its Program Management and Evaluation Division

Silver Spring, Maryland (September 21, 2009) — Danya International, Inc. (Danya), a communications, research, and technology firm, recently promoted Jennifer Scherer, Ph.D., to the position of Vice President of Program Management and Evaluation (PME). In this capacity, Dr. Scherer will provide leadership and support to the PME area in the oversight of contracts and grants and will conduct research and evaluation design and implementation. She will also lead the strategic development and growth of the PME area.

Dr. Scherer has 20 years of experience conducting national-level research and evaluation projects for an array of federal agencies as well as for nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Danya, Dr. Scherer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Research Analyst for COSMOS Corporation and as Vice President of Research and Administration for Association & Issues Management, Inc. For these organizations, Dr. Scherer conducted both qualitative and quantitative research in support of client and firm projects; investigated industry-related inquiries; performed market research through the Internet, World Wide Web, and traditional information sources; analyzed statistics; and synthesized data.
