Danya International, Inc., Attends Hearts and Homes HONORS Gala
Silver Spring, Maryland (November 12, 2009) – Danya International, Inc. (Danya), attended the Hearts and Homes for Youth HONORS Gala on Thursday, November 12, 2009. Danya has been a long-time Youth Sponsor of the organization. The gala honored five individuals who have dedicated their lives to bettering the lives of children in need. The honorees were U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski; Gary Williams, head coach of the University of Maryland basketball team; Robbie Callaway, founding member of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children; Brig Owens, Washington Redskins Hall of Famer; and the Hon. Gwendolyn Britt, in memoriam, Maryland State Senator and Civil Rights leader. The master of ceremonies was Leon Harris, ABC News anchor.
