(Danya), a communications, research, and technology firm, is proud to announce Zewud Debebe as a finalist for the 2010 Human Resource Leadership Awards of Greater Washington, D.C., for promoting ethical behavior. This year’s honorees were announced in the May 14, 2010, issue of Washington Business Journal.

The Human Resource Leadership Awards honor human resource executives for outstanding contributions to their organizations and to the field of human resource management. Award categories include leadership, strategic alignment, innovation, mentoring, and corporate social responsibility. Emerging leaders and scholarship recipients are also recognized. Ms. Debebe was nominated for the Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior.

Overwhelmed by the nomination, Ms. Debebe, Chief Human Resource Officer at Danya, stated, “It is an honor to have been chosen as a finalist among a large pool of impressive human resource professionals in the greater Washington area.” A few of Ms. Debebe’s accomplishments that led to the nomination are:
