Danya and Zebrajobs Sponsor The Corporate Council on Africa’s Second U.S. – Africa Private Sector Health Conference
Silver Spring, Maryland (September 20, 2010) - Danya International, Inc. (Danya), a communications, research, and technology firm, along with Zebrajobs.com, is sponsoring the second Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) 2010 U.S.–Africa Private Sector Health Conference. The Conference will be held October 4-6, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C. This year’s theme is Integrating Business Solutions for Expanding Access, featuring plenary sessions on critical public health challenges and priorities in Africa.
Danya has been deeply involved with CCA’s U.S. – Africa conferences for years, participating in planning committee meetings, sponsorships, and promotions. This year, Danya’s CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Hoffman, will deliver the welcoming remarks prior to the first plenary session on October 5th.
At this conference, Danya and Zebrajobs will promote the upcoming 2010 Africa Online Job Fair. Launching on November 3rd, this is the second such Fair they have hosted. With a theme of “Empowering Africa: Health, Finance, Infrastructure, and Technology,” the Fair will run until December 2nd. The first day will provide a live, interactive venue for employers and jobseekers to communicate and network. For the rest of the month, jobseekers will be able to explore the showroom, learn about employers, and view and apply for available positions.
This Fair features several companies, including Population Services International (PSI), Management Sciences for Health (MSH), and Africare. Zebrajobs seeks to match qualified and competent jobseekers with excellent companies who have a great presence in Africa. They saw great success with last year’s Fair, with more than 1,300 active job seekers logging into the online job fair campus on the day of the launch to connect with more than 100 representatives from the 18 exhibiting companies. Following the launch, more than 9,500 job seekers from around the world registered to access the job fair online campus.
